Workflow for Travel Photographers

Gargoyle, Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, France

I will be teaching the ‘Workflow for Travel Photographers’ workshop on April 16th, 2011 at Pikto in Toronto’s Distillery District. It is a full-day workshop from 10 AM to 5 PM.

If you like more info, please visit Pikto’s site here.

Here’s the workshop description:

Digital photography presents a unique new challenge. Managing hundreds of digital files has quickly become the most daunting task facing photographers today. Whether you are on a day trip or an expedition, how do you build in redundancy for storing captured images to prevent data loss? What is an effective system to manage hundreds of images while on the road?

This workshop will introduce to you an efficient on-site high volume, quick turnaround workflow to back up, sort, rename, edit, input metadata, and even process your raw captures. It is recommended for photographers who want to simplify their daily shoots with an effective mobile file management solution.
